(Re)Introducing The Hometastic Box: The must-have subscription box for 2024!
So it’s January again already, and I’ve been doing some reflecting since we last caught up (after all, isn’t that what the New Year period is the perfect opportunity for?!). I’ve been wanting to find new ways to make The Hometastic Box - my homewares subscription box service - even bigger and better this year. Have you heard of it already? If your answer is ‘no’, then it’s time we fixed that! And if you already know what I’m talking about, stick around, I have something for you, too!
So, what’s this subscription box thing all about?!
The Hometastic Box is a quarterly subscription box that delivers goodies straight to your door to either keep or share around. I hand-select the products that go in these seasonal boxes to be distinct from what’s available through Ruby’s Home Store, and also to blend in with any decor aesthetic. At the beginning of March, June, September and December, a beautifully presented box will be delivered to your door, ready for you to burst open like it’s Christmas morning! Inside you’ll find between four and six new treasures as well as guidance on how to style them. On top of that, you’ll have the opportunity to join our growing community of ‘Hometastic stylists’, who share their unique interpretations of what’s been included.
The time-saving alternative to hitting the shops!
One of my favourite things about bringing this subscription box service together has been the feedback I’ve received since the very first box went out. One of the most common things I hear is how convenient the whole experience is - no more jostling for parking spaces and darting from shop to shop looking for the perfect item. I do all the shopping for you and then they simply arrive at your door, elegantly packaged and ready to be enjoyed. My personal favourite fact, though? Hometastic Box subscribers are going to have high-quality, signature pieces placed in their homes that can’t be found anywhere else. Just thinking about it gives me a little tingle!

Ah, well here’s where the fun starts! One of the most unexpected upsides of running The Hometastic Box has been the community of creative style lovers that has built up around it. This community has become so important to me, and naturally, I’d quite like even more fabulous humans to join us inside. So here’s what I’ve come up with…
Introducing: The Hometastic Box Referral Program
Since my subscription box service has become so much more to me than the exquisite homewares inside each box, I have two simple aims this year: 1. To build our circle, and 2. To give back to it in whatever way I can. To achieve both ends my proposal is simple. For each new member of The Hometastic Box a current (or former) subscriber brings in, I’ll give you BOTH $20 to put towards your next Box, AND $20 to spend in-store at Ruby’s Home Store. There’s no upper limit on the bonuses, so in theory, you might never pay for a subscription box again! To participate in our referral program, you’ll have your very own referral link, and the rewards will be applied to your account right away.
