Refund policy

We really hope you will love your goodies from Ruby's Home Store, however if for some reason you are not happy and your purchase wasn't made during a sale period, you are eligible for either a refund or exchange pending your return meets our return conditions.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unwashed or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

You will be required to cover the cost of return postage. If you are returning for a refund, your initial postage fee will not be refunded. If you are returning for exchange you will also need to pay postage on the new order. Shipping charges will be waived only if the returned item is faulty.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Faulty, Damaged, Missing Items or Issues

I take product quality and packaging very seriously. In the unlikely event your item has a fault or is damaged, please contact us at hello@rubyshomestore.com.au to explain the issue. We also ask that you send photographs of the item and the packaging to show us the problem.

Should the item be deemed faulty, we'll refund, exchange or replace the item free of charge and cover the postage to get the item to you. We may also ask you to return the item and we'll cover the cost of the postage.

Very occasionally we do make a mistake. If you've received the wrong item, please contact as at hello@rubyshomestore.com.au We'll send you out the correct item as soon as possible and we will ask that you return the wrong item and we'll cover the cost of the postage.

We take all measures to ensure the product image is colour matched. Please use the product image on the website as a colour reference, however we note that there are variances between colour settings on individual computers and phones. 

Exchanges for discrepancy in colour will be treated as a Change of Mind (details above) and our standard refund and exchange terms apply. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Products that are damaged upon opening or damaged through unreasonable wear and tear.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
