Hello I'm Jane

If we haven’t met before, welcome to Ruby’s Home Store. I moved out to Australia from the UK back in 2009. I love living here but there are things that I miss from home no matter how hard the sun shone. There are certain British products that carry a distinct character and quality that can’t be found here in Australia, so I decided to do something about it!

Reminder of home.

Love this tin for keeping my Gluten free biscuits separate from those I can’t eat. The design is a reminder of when I could eat these biscuits before I moved to New Zealand. A generous size and easy to open.

A nostalgic nod to Christmases past.

Instantly recognising these as the lights which adorned my childhood Christmas tree, it was an instant ‘add to cart’ for the Fairy Lights Deep Rectangle Tin by Emma Bridgewater. I love that it is hinged, making for easy biscuit retrieval and already know that it will house my Grandma’s Scottish shortbread throughout the festive season.

And a special thank you to Jane for the exceptional care and detail in packing up the orders, ensuring they arrive safely with a sweet treat added in too!

Overwhelmed with emails

Dear Ruby the tin I ordered was great and it was sent in a timely manner, which I really appreciated. However this is the 9th advertising email that I have received over the last couple of weeks. This is total overkill. I would like to use your store again, but the constant emails are an absolute deterrent. Please cut down on the emails or delete me from your email list all together.
Regards,
Sonja Howell.

Thank you for your feedback Sonja, I’m so glad that you love your tin. Apologies that you felt that you received too many emails. I’ve taken that on board for the future. I will unsubscribe you from my list. Lots of love Jane xx
