An agapanthus in ochre linen, stitched one at a time in Cornwall
Handmade in Cornwall, UK by Poppy Treffry and her team, this coin purse is stitched by Briony on one of the studio's 1930s Singer sewing machines. The agapanthus motif is worked in applique and freehand machine embroidery, which means every single one is a little different from the last.
The raw ochre linen outer and slate blue cotton lining are a beautiful pairing, and the purse is just the right size for everyday use. It fits coins, cards, and all the small things that need a proper home.
